Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and order details when you create an account, place an order, sign up for emails or texts, or contact us. Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our site we collect device and browser information, IP address, pages and products viewed, items added to your cart, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from an ad or an email). We collect this using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

Location. We do not use GPS or track your precise location. Your approximate location (city, region and country) may be inferred from your IP address and from the shipping address you enter, and is used only to calculate shipping and taxes, prevent fraud, and understand where our visitors come from.

How we use your information

• To process and ship orders, handle returns and provide customer service
• To send marketing emails and text messages you have agreed to receive
• To send reminders about items left in your cart or products you viewed
• To understand how our site is used and improve it
• To show relevant ads on other websites and social media

Text messages

If you opt in to text messages, we use your phone number to send recurring marketing messages, such as promotions and cart reminders. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help at any time.

Cart reminders. Bony Levy's website uses cookies and similar technologies (including our Klaviyo and BigCommerce integrations) to keep track of the items you put in your shopping cart, including when you leave without completing your order. We use this information to decide when to send you a cart reminder by email or, if you have opted in to texts, by text message.

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that help us deliver our text messages.

Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run our business, with:

• Our e-commerce platform (BigCommerce), which hosts our store and processes orders
• Payment processors (such as PayPal and our card processor) to take payment
• Shipping carriers to deliver your order
• Email and SMS providers (Klaviyo) to send messages you have agreed to receive
• Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google, Meta and Pinterest) to measure site performance and show relevant ads
• Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information for money.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies

Cookies keep items in your cart, tell us when a cart has been left without checking out (so we can send a reminder), remember your preferences and help us measure our marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features of the site may not work without them.

Notice of Financial Incentive

We offer new subscribers 20% off their first order when they sign up for our marketing emails (and, optionally, text messages) through the sign-up form on our website. This is a "financial incentive" under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

• What we collect: your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your mobile phone number, plus the browsing and purchase information described above that we associate with your subscription.
• Material terms: the offer is for new subscribers only, valid on the first order, cannot be combined with other offers, and cannot be applied to gift cards.
• How to opt in: enter your email address in the sign-up form and submit it. Joining is voluntary.
• How to withdraw: you can opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or replying STOP to any text message.

Value of your data. We do not assign a separate monetary value to an individual subscriber's information. Based on a good-faith estimate of the expenses related to offering the program, including the cost of the discount itself, we consider the value of your information to be reasonably related to the value of the discount you receive.

Your choices and rights

• Emails: click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Texts: reply STOP to any message.
• Access, correction or deletion: email customercare@bonylevy.com and we will respond as required by law.

Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. To make a request, email us at the address above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Children

Our site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
